It's been a while... Las Vegas Recap

My family and I decided to go to Vegas for my dad's 50th Birthday. It was definitely a lot of fun. We left Feb. 28th and it was pouring rain here in California and as expected, it was raining in Vegas as well. What a way to start our trip! It was very cold and wet but that didn't stop us from having fun. 

On our way there we stopped by Alien Fresh Jerky- boyfriend'a request- located at Baker, California. My gosh, it was THE BEST JERKY I'VE EVER HAD. I will be dreaming about that beef jerky tonight.

They also have some really cool vintage pops/ sodas. They have the famous 'Duff' beer that The Simpsons drink, but instead of beer, it is soda. 

My travel outfit is all about comfort especially since it was pouring rain when we left L.A. I was wearing my favorite BCBG MaxAzria asymmetrical sweater (not shown on the pic) and leggings. All I wanted was to be comfortable and be able to sleep while on the road- which by the way, never happened.

My family and I stayed at MGM Grand Las Vegas. Checking in was a pain in the butt because 1. there was a lot of people and 2. they switched our room to a single King Size bed. But after that whole ordeal, we finally arrived at our Executive Queen Suite. It was nice, very spacious (which is perfect for my big family). Thank you MGM!

After relaxing for a couple of minutes and fixing all our luggage. My boyfriend and I decided to have a little date night. We had dinner at Fiamma Trattoria. Amazing food, Great Service. I definitely recommend this place.

Second night at Vegas, we went to dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant with Shaye's childhood friend and the night begun!

Overall, our Vegas trip was very memorable. I can't wait to go back soon and make new memories that I will always cherish

It's been too long...

It's been months since I last posted a blog post and I am quite sad about it. I will try to update this daily (Let's see if that happens). Life has been a roller coaster ride these past months but I am very happy and content.

I wanted to update this blog with a preview (selfie) pictures of my photo shoot today. I had so much fun even though I was feeling a bit sick- I really need to eat more. Anyways, The photo shoot was at Pasadena City Hall. It was such a beautiful location. The Pasadena City hall was built circa 1920's. It was beautiful and  really an amazing location to check out locally.

I was accompanied by the man who I love dearly, my boyfriend...Who said he enjoyed watching me.... Did he really or was he just saying that?

Happy Holidays!

I haven't posted in my blog for quite a while now because I've been busy with school.

I've also been sketching a lot and I am improving so props to me :)

Well, I just wanted to greet everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa and A Happy New Year!

I had such a good day today. My family opened up presents this morning and it was so much fun. I love giving gifts because it makes me feel good and I love seeing everyone's happy faces.. Especially my lil' sis who is extremely spoiled.

After opening presents, we went to church to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. :)

The Roof on Wilshire

It was my best friend's 19th birthday yesterday and we celebrated her birthday at The Roof on Wilshire.

The place was on the rooftop of The Hotel on Wilshire. We all had such a nice time talking, taking pictures, eating and having fun. 

The food was really delicious and the ambiance of the place was great.

The roof on wilshire is a really nice place to have brunch, lunch, and dinner. The ambiance is nice and the view of LA is great! I highly recommend this restaurant for dates (wink), group lunch, and dinner. I still have yet to try their brunch menu. 

I ordered a medium strip steak with roasted eggplants and au jus sauce. It was heaven in my mouth.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. It is really small but it's lovely. 

Every time my friends and I go out to dinner, we dress up. 

Since it was raining, i decided to wear a crop top turtle neck and wide leg pants. This combo is so fab!

It's so chic and so perfect for a dinner.

Happy Sunday, Everyone! Anyways, I haven't been updating my blog because I have been busy with school and my sketches. I am improving day by day which is good. (I will make another post about it.)

I wore flared pants today with a loose white top & vest. As much as possible, I try and wear all the clothes in my closet because I don't want them to go to waste!!! For me, flared pants are never out of style. You just have to work with it & style it up!
